Gananda Racing Aquatic Team (GRAT) Bylaws

USA Swimming's MAAPP - Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policy

This policy, revised September 2021, is the overarching policy by USA Swimming's Safe Sport. All athletes and families must read and acknowledge their understanding of MAAPP prior to joining GRAT (during the registration process). Electronic "signatures" of the agreement are retained along with the registration verification online. The policy applies to Adult Participants (Board members, team volunteers with regular interaction with our minor athletes, adult athletes, and coaches, to list the most common) who have "in-program" contact related to USA Swimming Club team activities or communications are required to be MAAPP compliant.
